Take Me Out To The Ball Game

So it's either been 4 or 5 years now, that Robert's family goes to a Rockies game on Father's Day.  It is such a fun tradition, that I look forward to every year.  This year, the Rockies don't play on Father's Day, so we went yesterday instead.  If you have a Wells Fargo account, you can get a ticket for $30 in Club Level.  So that's what we do.  We got to sit right where Robert and I had our wedding reception.  And of course took pictures there, and where we got married, which is a few sections over.  Every year, we add one more person to our tradition.  This year it was Billy, my nephew, who is 8 months old.  And he did so good.  I don't think he even flinched with any of the noise.

Man, I love baseball.  And I love the Rockies.  Sorry Mom, and to the Beller family.  I was raised a Giants fan, so my family isn't to please that Robert converted me to a Rockies fan.  But the Rockies are not doing so well.  We need new pitchers, and fast.  The game yesterday was against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of California of the United States of North America, as Robert would put it.  And we lost.  We got swept.  And it was the 5th loss in a row:(  But we did get to witness Jim Tracy get thrown out of the game, which is always fun.  Anyways, here are some pics of the game.    Enjoy!!!

She LOVED the Lite Rail.  She kept saying choo choo.

Right when you walk into the Club Level, we came upon Mickey Mouse all dressed up in Rockies.  Taylor was very fascinated by this.

1st picture is where Robert and I had our wedding reception.  The 2nd picture is where Robert and I got married.  Love being there and remembering everything about that day.  I told Trina, that I would totally do it all over again.  Including registering.  Haha.

This has to be one of my favorite pictures of us 3.  LOVE!!!

Having some fun in the sun.  It was really hot out.  After the 2nd inning we moved into the shade.

Enjoying her snacks and juice in the shade.

They usually get along totally fine.  They did not like sharing a seat, I guess.

Just some photos with the amazing background after the game.

And last but not least...

Our traditional family photo.

This was our 1st game of the season.  And Taylor did incredibly well.  Hopefully we can enjoy more Rockies games before the season is over.  Taylor and I are however, going to a Giants game in July in San Fransisco, with my whole family.  Hopefully she will enjoy that too.  Or my mom will be so sad.  Haha.

Oh, and I totally forgot, until Robert just mentioned it.  But for as many games as I have been to my whole entire life.  I have never been on the jumbo tron or been close to catching a foul ball.  Well the foul ball thing changed yesterday.  Came right towards us, and Robert and the guy behind us were on top of each other trying to catch it.  Well obviously from there being no pictures of us with the ball, then the other guy caught it.  But we were so close.  All well.  I'm only 27, and hope to go to many more baseball games.  So one day.

Easter Play Date

Now that I have a computer and have Internet back on in the house, I am hoping to be writing many blogs about anything and everything.  People who know me, know I have a lot of pictures and a lot to say.  Plus with me having a tiny obsession with Pinterest, OK maybe a huge obsession with Pinterest, I have pinned so many things, and then go onto people's blogs and it makes me want to write about everything.  So I'm in the process of making a schedule for my blogs.  I keep getting so many great ideas from other people.  I'm thinking of maybe doing a blog Monday thru Friday.  And have each day set to be about something different.  Like Monday's will be about recipes, Tuesday's be about crafts, Wednesday's be about Taylor, and so on.  I am hoping to start next Monday.  So if you have any great ideas, I'm all ears!

Anyways, today I wanted to share with everyone what Taylor and I did this morning with our friends.  Traci and Luci, Kara and Iyla, Aimee and Dexter, and Lo and Rylan came over for a couple of hours this morning, and we had an Easter theme play date.  I didn't give myself enough time to make the Easter theme cookies, that I found on Pinterest of course, but I did make egg salad sandwiches with carrots and bunny fruity snacks for lunch.  And also Bunny Bait, which I found on Pinterest, and it was delicious.  You can find the recipe here.  The only problem with the Bunny Bait is that, the ladies didn't eat enough of it, so now I have a whole bowl staring at me, saying "EAT ME".

Doesn't it look delicous?  Not quite as good as the one I found on Pinterest.  But still delicous.

The crafts for the day involved dying Easter eggs, and then painting foam Easter eggs.  All you need is construction paper cut into large Easter eggs or pre cut foam Easter Eggs, which I got at the $1 store.  Oh my gosh have I told you how much I love the $1 store, especially for crafts for Taylor.  I can spend a lot of money there.  Then you need Washable Tempura paint, paper plates, and shaving cream.  All you do is put shaving cream on the paper plate, spread it out with a knife, add a drop of each color of the paint into the shaving cream, then using the knife, swirl around the paint and shaving cream to make it look tie die.  Then just put the foam Easter egg on top of the plate and press down.  It is a very fun project, but a very messy project as well.  I would suggest aprons, towels, blankets, or whatever else to keep the floor, table, and your child from getting all messy.  We all just took off the girls clothes and let them at it.  Poor Skyler though (Traci's dog).  Luci decided to put the paint that was on her hand on Skyler's back.

And here are a few pics of everyone dying Easter eggs.

We had such a great time with all our friends.  And I love having themed play dates.  I need to win the Powerball or something, so I don't have to work anymore, and I can just stay home with Taylor all day doing play dates, blogging, crafts, and whatever else we feel like.  And now I can actually say that I have done a few things that I have pinned on Pinterest.  Haha!  I'll end with a few more pics of our great day today.

Look how modest our daughters are.  I wish I could just walk around shirtless and pantless.  Hehe!!!

I made cute little Easter baskets for all the kiddos.  Seriously love the $1 store.

My beautiful baby.  Love her more than words can express.
